Bathroom renovation plumbing in South West London

Updating a bathroom or replacing worn fittings? We can discuss the plumbing: taps, shower valves, wastes and pipework. This page is for the plumbing part of a project, not a promise of a complete design, tiling or building renovation.

Plumbing for a bathroom update

Whether you are replacing one fitting or coordinating a wider renovation, knowing what stays and what moves helps us work out the plumbing required.

Taps & shower valves

We work on tap replacements and concealed thermostatic shower valves. Tell us the existing make if known, and whether the new fitting goes in the same position.

Waste & drainage

Blocked or slow wastes and macerator/Saniflo repairs are listed bathroom services. A moved basin or shower may require a different waste route and an access check.

Pipework changes

If a new layout needs altered supplies, describe the current pipework and where you want the new fitting. We can discuss whether that work fits the plumbing scope.

Bathroom renovation plumbing cost

The listed bathroom and kitchen plumbing price starts at £90 fixed labour for smaller fitting work; it is not a price for a full bathroom renovation. Moving a shower, changing pipework or dealing with concealed waste routes needs an individual scope and quote. Ask your tiler or builder separately about non-plumbing work.

For a useful quote, tell us your postcode, what you want changed, the current fittings or heating setup and any access restrictions.

Bathroom plumbing across our areas

What we tend to find in homes in each area we cover, and what to mention when you ask for a quote.

Richmond (TW9, TW10)

Period conversions can have small airing-cupboard cylinders and awkward waste routes. Tell us your hot water setup and whether the bathroom sits above another flat.

East Sheen (SW14)

Loft conversions often add a bathroom far from the boiler or cylinder. Mention where the new fittings go so we can discuss supply, pressure and waste routes.

Barnes (SW13)

Older houses and cottages may still have ageing supply pipes and stiff stopcocks. If you are replacing taps or a shower valve, tell us whether the water can be isolated easily.

Putney (SW15)

In converted flats a bathroom leak can quickly reach neighbours below. Tell us about shared pipework and access, and whether a macerator is involved.

Twickenham (TW1, TW2)

Homes on a regular boiler with a cylinder may have lower-pressure showers. Tell us your hot water system before choosing a new shower valve.

Teddington (TW11)

Larger homes with unvented cylinders and several bathrooms can run mains-pressure showers. Share the cylinder type and how many bathrooms are on the system.

Wimbledon (SW19, SW20)

Big period houses often have multiple bathrooms on older pipework. Tell us which bathroom is changing and whether others run from the same supply.

Kingston (KT1, KT2)

Newer flats may have unvented cylinders, while older houses often have loft tanks. Your hot water setup affects which taps and shower valves suit the bathroom.

Questions about this work

Do you carry out a complete bathroom renovation?

Our listed service is bathroom plumbing, including taps, shower valves, wastes and pipework. We do not advertise a complete design-and-build bathroom renovation or tiling service. Tell us what plumbing you need and we can discuss that part of the project.

Can you replace my shower valve or taps?

These are among our listed bathroom plumbing services. Photos of the current fittings and any visible brand details help us discuss parts and access before quoting.

What if I am moving the shower or basin?

Tell us the existing and proposed positions, the property type and whether floors or walls will be opened as part of the renovation. We can discuss the supply and waste pipework required before agreeing a plumbing scope.
