Regularly. Much of our work is in Victorian terraces and conversions — lead pipe renewals, mains pressure upgrades, repiping in architectural copper, and heating in homes with little room for modern pipework runs.
What should I do while waiting for an emergency plumber?
Find your internal stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink) and turn it clockwise to isolate the water, then open taps to drain what remains. If you can smell gas, leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999 first — do not switch anything electrical on or off.
